as impressive as the structures look, let's shed a thought for the construction workers responsible for all these mega projects.

The ocean tube project seems like it would be at incredibly high risk in tsunamis, or even just moderately large waves or powerful currents. How would they make it strong and flexible enough to not get snapped into pieces?

I live in Dubai, and I see it all the time. The construction work is already done, but since it isn't open yet - well, it is called the museum of the FUTURE.

Yes, if done this would be an engineering marvel but I can already see how environmentally deviating this is gonna be when one of those lines break in the middle of the sea..

Whether all of these projects come to fruition or not I give them credit for coming up with these ideas.

Ambitious they are, but you can't deny that their taste in decor is astounding.

Concerned about the oil and pas pipes, it would only take a small spark to blow up the whole underwater line 🥴 Even if they are sealed away individually that is just an irreversible risk I would not take.😔

Watching this video makes me think Dubai is all talk. There’s not many projects they’ve actually completed

Seems like Dubai has so much money they throw it away on whimsical buildings, questionably safe underwater trains, and uneccessary islands. There are a LOT of poor people there that could be helped instead.
