  As the surf industry slowly loses its soul, need essentials, torryn and ishka are like a shining beacon of light. Reminding us all of our love for the ocean and surfing and the underlying reasons why we do it. Epic lads, nailed it! 🏄‍♂️♥️

  This is incredible. The whole production level is jaw dropping with a team at the top of their game. The narrative and story is beautiful. So emotive, love it. Needessentials are so ahead of their time by investing in filmmaking rather than traditional advertising as such. Great for the world, less waste, and pure joy in the form of this incredible series. They have also dedicated so much and put all of their trust into the amazing Torren Martyn and Ishka Folkwell. Not to mention the fabulous score by Headland. Such an incredible display of talent. So evocative.

  That Shipstern Bluff section might have been the greatest section of any surf film I’ve ever seen. Unbelievable work boys

  This last section is just so amazing, Torren absolutely charging, incredible music and incredible shots.<br>And obviously also the rest of the film, absolute masterclass. Stunning.<br>So good! Thanks for that.
