It seems that unit managers drag a bunch of leftover bits into one unit. they get a bit of money and someone else has to clean up and remove. It's a win/win for them.

Buying storage units is an adult easter egg hunt. Me and a friend did this in Dallas for a couple of years. Most people don't realize how much work it is to clean out these units. You're usually under a time limit (end of the day, or, sometimes the next day), and you have to leave a deposit. 4 hours in 100+ degree temps in a storage unit is no joke. However, the Easter Egg hunt is woth it :-)

That would be a Manager special. Storage facility takes anything that’s left over in other units that nobody wanted and they put it into a different unit together so they could sell it for some money
