  This immediately made me think of Alaska, especially the Kenai peninsula, places like Seward and Whittier, where you have huge mountains rising right up from the sea. They also have very similar seafood, though I think Argentina's European heritage has given it a more sophisticated gastronomy.

  My grandpa was the doctor on the Rio Grande naval base about 80 something years ago.<br>I&apos;ve always wanted to go there, I got to Rio Gallegos, but never crossed to Tierra del Fuego. Is a dream of mine. <br><br>Now I&apos;m living in Spain, so a little far away. Will go there for sure one day.<br><br>I&apos;ve loved this series a lot. Laburazo Al!

  Great video Al!! Grande! Ushuaia is a magical place and the food is amazing. Met people from all over the world walking on the streets, at restaurants, or on tours. Well worth the trip and you will never forget it. &nbsp;It is the only city in Argentina that is on the other side of the Andes Mountains.
