Walter really left her everything she needed to uncover the truth—the journals, documents, seeds, knowledge of the game trails, and even Franklin the mule. She was smart enough to put all the pieces together, and seeing her finally win the case made the ending so satisfying.

Sorry, I do not see the logic - the evil character was at the auction where the good woman payd 3 $ for the propriety and aftef some time starts a dirty war to take the 40 acres, lawyers, judges, aso. Anyone able to light a candle to me?
