  Toasted rice is one of my culinary light bulb moments (like shrimp paste). It adds so much more than you would imagine. Its the first time for me to hear, that Dill is a thing in Thailand. I love to learn these things!

  Pailin, thank you so much for creating your videos. Your shining personality and genuine love for food, flavour, and Thai cuisine are absolutely enamouring, and on many occasions (including more than once in this video!) have made me audibly laugh out loud. I’m so happy to have found such a great resource for Thai cooking knowledge, and can’t believe how lucky we are to have you here in BC, Canada. After spending 6 months living in Chiang Mai, I fell completely head over heels in love with Thai food, and have relied largely on your videos to be my guiding light in building my repertoire of Thai recipes. Even as a professional chef, it can be overwhelming to try and learn about the intricacies of an unfamiliar cuisine - especially when you aren’t fluent in the language of that country, and your videos really help to break down little intricacies which I often wonder about - like using jasmine vs glutinous rice for making rice powder.<br><br>Thank you for doing what you do! ขอบคุณมากค่ะ 🙏🏼💕🌶️
