  You never look away when you’re on point. You’re literally the only thing that can save this person’s life and you can see how quickly he disappears.

  Flashback to my real life  experience while serving in the Navy...Man overboard is  no joke....unfortunately we were unable to recover him, it'll be  32 years in a couple of months but i still remember it  like was yesterday.....I'll carry that memory  for the rest of my life.

  Once you see a man in the water, never take your eyes off him. Other people can do the other things, point and keep your eyes on the person overboard.

  Been saying this for over 2 decades of watching this show. These boats and all who are on them are family. When it gets real, they respond quickly to save lives. Pride be damned in these moments. A life is a life.
