Where the world is busy in marketing artificial structures, India, on the other hand, is land of wonders ...these caves should have been 7th Wonder ...far-far ahead of Tajmahal

Visited Ajanta and Ellora just a week ago and I am in complete awe! Being a seafarer, I have seen a lot of beautiful places around the globe, but I truly believe nothing comes close to making you appreciate the sheer faith and determination of humans the way these caves do, alongside the Pyramids perhaps. In my eyes, these caves should have been on the Wonders of the World list and that too right at the top. Also, I would like to say that the Mughals gave India a lot of fantastic architecture of their own, but I can now never forgive them for what they did to the beautiful Hindu, Buddhist and Jain architectures. But even though they did inflict some damage, these caves still are pretty much intact proving to us that faith trumps hatred! I also wish that the Indian govt. did a better job at maintaining these historic sites. Littering by careless visitors, mostly locals, not only around the compound but also inside some of the caves is heart breaking.

I have watched a few shows on these caves and always came away with the feeling these shows were inadequate in showing the glory and history of these caves. You proved me right. The footage and all the information about this amazing place made for a wonderful and informative evening. Excellent work, Thanks.

Absolutely thrilled to have stumbled upon this documentary  today . It is , by far , the very best one on Ellora I have seen , with  complete coverage of all caves,  wonderfully detailed explanation of each one and stunning visuals. Thank you very much .

I had the pleasure of visiting these caves after my grand mother told stories about them growing up . Thanks for the video 😊

Thank you for the documentary. That was really informative and expanded my perception of caves. I did not know that they were damaged so much from the tribes. Attacking and occupying... That's pretty evil to try to destroy someone's entire heritage. India has a very strong culture and will not be erased or wiped out
