Its Saturday morning in 1993 at mawmaws house.  Im 8 years old. Just woke up to the smell of bacon cooking. I jump out of bed and go down the hall where mom and mawmaw and my aunts are all cooking a huge breakfast complete with biscuits and gravy and livermush. Dad and Uncle Ricky are in the den. I grab a plate of food and a glass of milk and run into the den. Uncle Ricky leans up and turns the switch on the TV. We'll spend the next hour watching these 2 men fish. Then Dad and Uncle Ricky would jump in the boat and take off and me and my cousins would go play in the woods. Thank God I was raised a simple North Carolina country boy.

Hank ya know your bringing so much-needed knowledge to people in the different world we have. Lots of things have slipped through and or forgotten . This is very much needed for the sport  these guests are walking libraries of information.  Before they slip away they're crucial.. ❤  g penninger

All my life my favorite lure has been a spinnerbait. For a while I'd forgotten why, recently after finding Hank on YouTube I remember why I love hearing them blades flutter in the air on a calm morning.
