I got a 40 min video, taken by my son, hooked at least a 25lb flathead on ultralight tackle and 4 # mono. Fought 4 two and a half hours and lost him. On a hot dog. Right below a roller head dam.

Anything is worth a try. I had heard about fishing using dough balls and never gave it much credence. A week ago I saw a guy using them hauling in Rainbows where other people were getting the usual lackluster results at this one spot. Next trip no matter where it is around here I'll be bringing a couple of hot dogs and a small supply of biscuit mix to mix on the spot, or some Pillsbury ready made dough from the refrigerated section.

I’ve used hotdogs for years normally I cut them and place them on a paper towel and microwave for about a minute to make them rubbery cheeped the dog the better

Nathan's and Hebrew National stay on the hook the best! Tried almost every brand out there! Potomac and Occoquan Rivers, caught eel, yellow perch, bullhead, blue cats, channel cats and almost landed a snakehead!! Hot dog=superior bait
