I live just off the former Panhandle now near Winamac, IN. Grew up watching all the PC trains there.

I know it failed, but i love the old penn central. My dad worked for them when i was a kid. He went on to become president of the p& w rr. I retired as a railroad police captain, for same railraod. Tks for sharing.

It is amazing to see the amount of different railroads. You could go and see at 1 location comparing it to today. I guess that's why I'm not shooting trains anymore or chasing trainstoday's railroad is a total loss.

These films are fabulous! I grew up in Indiana, east of Anderson (on the panhandle) used to watch 65 and 66 blow by... I worked my adult life for Amtrak and traveled some of these locations!
