  As a bengali, I hate bappu. Netaji is our first PM. Bose is bose and will always be in our hearts.

  How can someone hate Netaji ? I&apos;m from West Bengal and the name Subhas Chandra Bose...every time I hear it gives me goosebumps.

  I am born and raised in Kolkata. As a Bengali I can vouch to the fact that most Bengalis see Subhas Bose as a national hero, an absolute legend. Not sure where this narrative is derived from that we as Bengalis are partial towards Gandhi and not Bose. In fact most people I know from Kolkata are against Gandhi’s politics. Subhas Bose has always been a hero to us and will be so for generations to come

  India became independent because of efforts of Netaji. Ambedkar in 1955 ,PM Clement atlee in 1956 who signed on indian independence act,Ajit doval NSA, etc said india became free because of Bose in 1947

  It’s only because of Subhash Chandra Bose today Assam is a part of India and not Bangladesh. When all the so called Assamese leaders like Tarun Phukan/Goliath Bordoloi failed then they had to request Subhash Chandra Bose to intervene . Subhash Chandra bose did not let Assam go into Bangladesh and also said that Assam’s CM will only be Assamese. But it’s sad that no Assamese will acknowledge this and abuse Bengalis living in Assam all the time.

  I am from Kolkata. We know that our Netaji was gumnami baba. He was our lord. India only got freedom because of our lord Netaji. I highly support Anuj Dhar sir and Chandrachur Ghosh sir.
