  Been  here ten years, since Covid the population has dramatically increased. Traffic is becoming challenging but this synopsis is pretty spot on. Personaly i prefer Abu Dhabi but then again im an old fart!

  Dubai is a cool place to live, work and holiday.  If you are living there the only way you will make it work is if you treat living there just like you would if back home.  You don’t go out partying and eating out all the time.. do it once or twice a month etc… you have hobbies and clubs and friends you hang out with.. all for very little money.  It’s the only way to make it work.  The temptation is to go out all the time as its basically like Las Vegas in the Middle East.  It’s none stop party and indulgence if you want it.  However, if you go that route you will burn out fast and soon get tired of the place.  Treat it like your home country and you will enjoy it, save money and have great memories.

  Having sold floors of Burj Khalifa and helping create brand Dubai and the height of its boom around 2007 numbers not achieved again.. It has changed in the past 6 years a lot becoming more congested.

  Safety is not a word anymore for that country, where people are getting wached in hotels or in the desert. Yeah even stealing people’s stuff depends on where you are mate. I left my camera on a shop by the tube station, took the train back and they gave it to me, which was cool but I know people who have lost their shoes and other stuffs too.
