My dad died when I was 14, and I couldn't cope with it no matter what I did. A year later, I started having sleep issues, and I tried finding things on YouTube to help, and I found this channel. My dad used to help me fall asleep with Stephen King novels, and after I listened to this channel, I fell asleep with so much ease. I love these videos, and later on down the road, I slowly started healing the more I listened to these videos. It was like my dad was reading to me all over again.

"I really wanted a bear to come save the day!" See, even men pick a bear over a creepy other man in the woods.

I&apos;m a full-time caregiver for my mother with Alzheimer&apos;s - almost every morning I wake up around 3am to her just standing at the end of my bed staring at me, not saying anything, and then just leaving. <br>Terrible disease man.

I will never understand how people can be totally creeped out after SEEING something, not just hearing something, yet still somehow manage to go to bed and sleep until the morning. Sounds like either a skin walker or wendigo.

A few years ago, I had a neighbor who developed dementia as she got older. I was outside smoking one night super late and she came wandering over from the pitch dark, scaring the absolute shit out of me. The really sad thing was that she kept explaining to me that her dog had run away and that&apos;s why she was out there, calling and searching for her. This dog had passed away years ago and it shattered my heart to hear this poor woman looking for her lost companion, utterly confused and lost herself. Luckily my neighbor in my apartment building was home to help me figure out what to do (I was young and inexperienced with these kinds of emergencies so didn&apos;t really know how to handle it) and we found a list of phone numbers on her fridge, one of which was her son who lives just a few minutes away. He explained that she has dementia and the family had been discussing how to best care for her, but didn&apos;t realize that she was bad enough that she was beginning to wander off at night. After that happened, home care was hired but she passed away not long after. It was incredibly sad, I had grown up with her as my neighbor and remember her as always laughing and playing with her beloved golden retriever. I hope they found each other.

Sun downing is no joke. Martha needed a more experienced professional, and someone she was used to. Poor woman must have been terrified.
