I always thought Krabappel's dramatic swings in how much she cares about her work to be the most realistic depiction of a teacher on television.

Bart the Lover is brutal. Watching her be excited, nervous, embarrassed, and crushed at the restaurant just hurts. What a great character.

This video made me weak... Edna was such a well-rounded, fully fleshed character. She's very much missed (Marcial too, obvsly). Also, poor Flanders becoming a widower for the second time was really sad...

My favorite Ms. K joke comes from Homer "Wait a minute, Bart's teacher is named Krabappel?! I've been calling her Crandall!"

Screw "Team Flanders" or "Team Skinner". There's only team Krabapple, and everyone who loved her is on it.

I've always felt they missed a trick not having Skinner finally stand up to his mother and get married to Edna. There was so much they could have done with them together. Even if they wanted to split them up later, this could have led to Skinner going back to Agnes

Didnt mention the poor continuity of how badass skinner is. In an early episode he uses his military training to beat up the blue haired lawyer and two henchmen yet in season 15 he cant even beat comic book guy.

Edna Is 100% one of the best characters on the show, she feels so full and well rounded, you completely forgive all the digs she makes bc she is a genuinely good person.
