"This completely reshapes the way we think about worship. It's far bigger than singing songs on Sunday."

I was not taught that worship is singing.  I have been taught that my life is worship.  It's my service, my giving and presenting by body as a living sacrifice.    Worship is total submission and obedience.  We do sing but it is us pouring out our love on Him and adoring, magnifying, exalting, and extoling Him.

This beautifully shows what true worship really means: a heart fully surrendered to God. Thanks!!

This understanding really reshapes our comprehension of what worship means. It is interesting to consider that the first time the Hebrew verb related to worship appears in the Bible is when  Abraham tells his servants that he is going to worship with Isaac, the moment when he is ready to offer Isaac, the being he cherished most, as an act of obedience to God.

Songs is one of the channel of conveying our adoration to Him. Worship is a life style

When we worship, we bow, communicate and pray to God with praise and thankful mind!

I wondered why in the early days of personal worship - time spent with God in  study and prayer- I have ended up in prostration before The Lord or on my knees bowed before Him. I didn't understand this concept, but was and still am compelled to bow on my knees when praying or even at home singing and making melody in my heart reaching to God through Jesus Christ. just of late, I have thought to buy a kneeler for church services for prayer time. And wondered why our outreach isn't more direct to the poor in our community. I am grateful that The Lord is releasing truth to us in these days of shallow church going which do not fulfill the inner inclination to do the works taught us in the Bible  in communion with other believers. Thank you for this teaching. I'm studying through this lesson over and over till I get it deeply inside to impact even my vocabulary when I talk about church and worship and life.

I like what this message is saying. There’s a difference between praise and worship.  Our church begins with praise. Which leads us into worship.
