  It&apos;s a pleasure to see other builder&apos;s interpretations of Frank&apos;s plans.<br>I can relate to &quot;good enough&quot;. I had a horrible epoxy pour in an unheated shop during February the year I built mine. It never cured, and I spent about 20 hours cleaning up 2 hours worth of a bad pour.<br>I started off with two leeboards then discovered that with so little heel, a single longer one would do just as well.<br>My Hobie 16 mast step sits atop the center of my front aka.<br>My aka &quot;cradles&quot; are canted about 5 degrees outward so the amas land closer to vertical.<br>I&apos;m looking to add benches similar to yours along with a mainsail traveler across the rear aka to help her point and to calm down the gybes along two jib travelers next to the mast.<br>My Slingshot 19 with the Hobie rig has hit about 18 mph for some half mile sections as she is now. I&apos;m hoping the added trim capabilities that come with the travelers might give me a couple more.<br><br>I also have a mast step for an unstayed mast about 16 inches ahead of the Hobie that I can cover. When I don&apos;t feel like spending a lot of time rigging, I can throw up a GIS balanced lug and hit 12 or so mph without as much work.
