  A lot of inconsistencies. Why was he surprised she was gone when he finally got home since he had publicly announce the marriage over? &nbsp;<br>If he didn&apos;t care about what people say or think, why would he end his marriage publicly instead of just speaking to his wife privately?<br><br>He&apos;s kind of stupid if he listens to a gossip he knows wanted to marry him (sounds like he&apos;s mentally cheating) and doesn&apos;t even try to verify the rumours. She is way too good for him.

  These stories make me think about the transportation back then. A huge part of people’s time was taken up by travel to places that, by<br> Today’s standards, were very close. Riding a horse 12 miles would take quite a while. But in traffic today, it could also take quite a while!😂😂

  Good story. Very good lesson about seeing, not just looking. A lesson of seeing to observe what is really there, rather than what you thought you were seeing. Taking time to see, to absorbe, and to correctly communicate.<br>Many of us have given second chances in an effort to attain what Clara accomplished. Very few have achieved it. Seems the other person thinks they have some kind of right to dictate rather than listen, honestly, and adjust or freely decline with honest answers, courtesy, &amp; respect.😢

  I’m sorry, but in what universe would any man choose to make a spectacle in front of people by saying these things to his wife? It makes him look like an idiot. Especially a man of nobility who has a reputation to maintain. This is not logical. And the woman going back to him is even more unbelievable. Edit: Sorry. Not nobility. This is America.
