Her podcasts are like listening to daadi maa’s rendition of Ramayan  of course no one told us stories of Mahabharat as our ancestors believed that narrating mahabharat causes dispute and unhappiness in family

  Draupadi and the Inner Psychology — Symbolic Interpretation<br><br>In the Mahabharata, the disrobing of Draupadi can also be understood symbolically as a reflection of our inner psychology.<br><br>Draupadi represents the human mind, while the five Pandavas can be understood as the five senses—sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. Just as Draupadi is connected to all five Pandavas, the mind is connected to and influenced by all five senses.<br><br>The Kauravas can symbolize the countless external temptations, desires, and distractions that surround us. When the senses become overwhelmed by these external influences, the mind can become vulnerable. This is reflected symbolically in the humiliation of Draupadi in the royal court, when Dushasana attempts to disrobe her while even great elders such as Bhishma remain silent.<br><br>The deeper message is that power, knowledge, experience, or social status alone may not be enough to protect the mind when it is overwhelmed by the pull of the senses and external distractions.<br><br>Draupadi finally turns completely toward Krishna and surrenders to Him. In this symbolic interpretation, Krishna represents higher wisdom, divine awareness, or consciousness. The endless saree can therefore be understood as a symbol of the protection and strength that arise when the mind connects with higher wisdom.<br><br>External temptations may continue to pull at the mind, but when the mind is anchored in wisdom and awareness, those temptations gradually lose their power. Like Dushasana becoming exhausted while trying to remove the endless cloth, the forces that once seemed powerful eventually exhaust themselves.<br><br>The story, viewed in this symbolic way, points inward: the real struggle is not only between people, but within the human mind—between the senses, external temptations, and the higher awareness that can bring the mind back to its true center.
