  I honestly prefer the twist of Gordon being jack in the film sense it takes what we know from the comic and turns it against its head<br><br>It&apos;s also a cool subversion of how we know Gordon from the comics

  Honestly I do love the both versions but damn the animated movie slightly made it cool and creepier with that twist of Gordon being jack &nbsp;and also his wife telling batman that &quot;he cleansed me for my sins&quot; . I was like wtf the entire time

  Honestly, I would have preferred if Harvey was Jack. It could have been a fun reinterpretation of the two face origin, but instead they went with &quot;Oh dear! JAMES GORDON IS THE KILLER!&quot; which isn&apos;t a bad twist, but it doesn&apos;t make much sense if he also has a nightmare of him as jack killing his wife imo.

  I thought the twist in the movie was stupid because it was so obvious. The reveal in the comic is unsatisfying, but... inoffensive. They should&apos;ve just kept his identity a secret. Like in real life?<br><br>The comic art is beatufully drawn and the colors are vibrant; the animation in the movie is slow and stilted and the colors are painfully muted. Makes more sense for the Victorian Era? Well the former makes for better sales, because color theory
