If you asked any fan of any club "Would you take winning 8 Premier Leagues in 15 years, alongside european trophies, a champions league, multiple domestic trophies, breaking points records, having some of the best players in the world, but at the end of it you get sent to League 2, where you get to break every record in the EFL, win all of the trophies down there, and basically have a big party battering everyone for a few years while you climb back up.", every single person would snap your hand off for that. It's not a punishment, it's a very worthwhile tradeoff.

The right punishment for city would be the owners have to sell city immediately and can’t be involved in English football again and then a 100 points deducted and a transfer ban. The league booted ibramovic out of the league they should do the same with city’s owners

As a Walsall fan, can say if we made the playoffs I’d be absolutely buzzing, there’s still a lot of work for us to do and I don’t think we are quite there yet to be nailed on like Tom suggested. We were awful at the weekend and have had games where we should’ve been punished while never looking like scoring

They are going to get a seismic punishment there’s far too much scrutiny surrounding the whole investigation now. Book thrown at them. League 2, years of further points deductions, transfer bans, biggest fine in football history, titles stripped
