This deku is one of my mains. I like how he has a completely new move set instead of just being a reskin like he was in the story.

They’re lucky he’s fun to play with because I truly felt he like he wasted a slot ❤

Deku using Fa Jin is what I wanted for the main Deku, so I'm glad to at least get that ability for this version.

Having 6 Deku’s is definitely not the most ideal. But they’ve made all Deku’s feel unique and obviously reflect the different forms/eras of deku throughout the show. So while I’m not jumping for joy at Deku #6. This is definitely a unique deku and is fairly creative in terms of a character and I’m impressed they were able to make 6 Deku’s all feel unique. Even Rising Deku is unique as a combination of all the Deku’s.

I hope one of the free DLCs, or at least one of the DLCs is Spinner. It’s still so weird to me he hasn’t been in any of the MHA games

This character is funny, on one hand he's super fun to play as but damn he should've been one of the free characters their doing having the third character who was announced before they updated that theres gonna be two free ones be a character who's apprence was already in the base game was not a good idea

The model thing is likely a lot less of a factor than a lot of people assume because of how it is seen from the outside. The model itself is one of the simplest things with the creation of a character and it likely needed a brand new skeleton and so much other work done that it's basically the same amount of work as one with a new model regardless.

Though honestly this review feels unneedingly harsh for whatever reason. Like combos being flaky due to stages is a game issue and not an issue with the character nor would I imagine most would be that negative towards a character for having a vaguely similar gimmick to a single other character

On one end, this is probably my favorite Deku to Play, on the other...this shouldn't have been a dlc slot man.
