Also, fun fact. The number 13 shows up many times in Eberron's cosmology: Eberron has 13 moons, 13 planes, etc. etc. The creator is Keith Baker... so you know... a Baker's dozen.

How dare you put the dream of Eberron and Disco Elysium in my head?!

How am I supposed to think of anything else for the next week now?

Sharn is too obvious, and Stormhold is too fancy.

I would want it at Thronehold. The former capital of a lost empire, filled with criminals, spies, and lawmen. And who knows what else is there pulling the strings? At least one dragon, rakshasa, and a couple doppelgangers.

I love Eberron, what really got me hooked are Droaam, Darguun, the Gatekeepers, the Ghaash'kala, and the Dhakaani. I LOVE Monster societies that aren't pigeonholed into JUST being evil empires and are allowed to be outright forces for good in the world.

The Eberron setting is so underrated! D&D's version of Eternia.

Eberron Warforged Artificers were the MVPs of the party in this setting.

I love Eberron because it's so fluid and doesn't feel frozen in time. The micro-fandom of Eberron is also a plus because for the most part they aren't a bunch of sweats that debate and are hardcore against guns and fantasy. I can have my hexblade warlock cowboy gunslinger, running akimbo hexgun revolvers and no one will give me grief for it. I can run a Final Fantasy XII themed campaign and my table will just eat it tf up. It's easily my favorite setting.

Eberron- the campaign setting where the lyrics of 'War Pigs' aren't mere metaphor and hyperbole.

Hands down my favorite setting, and its so hard to find other ppl who want to play it. Which is crazy to me, cause Eberron was breaking some of the traditional race/species tropes 20 years ago.

I've been running eberron lately. It started out as a fantasy western with war veterans saving a town from bandits and undead like in The Magnificent Seven. Somehow now the party has to deal with brutal gangs straight from cyberpunk Night City to find a missing piece of a map leading to a space pirate port. And in the background, a border conflict between Breland and Thrane is starting, which threatens to boil over and turn into another huge war. About the machinations of the Tanith family, who seem to be pulling research on binding and using demons as weapons from the ruins of their old laboratories.
And it all makes sense.
