  John MacArthur gave a speech on how these men left him on the battlefield of the culture wars and how they are cowards. This is shameful and cowardly of those who invited these speakers to shepcon

  I’ve wondered why JM didn’t really have his successor in play years prior to his death. &nbsp;He’s had a few men but no one to really take his place. &nbsp;Definitely wonder how this will all shake out in the coming years. <br>It’s time for the rise of faithful local elders and their churches instead of celebrity teachers.

  My last church had ligon Duncan as a guest speaker. Partially why I left. Started going woke soon after

  It&apos;s not about idolizing messengers, but the message they deliver which must be God&apos;s Word throgh verse by verse exegesis. Let scripture interpret scripture. If they compromise on God&apos;s word by injecting what is not there, they have no business teaching a contorted Word. God and His living Word, is IMMUTABLE and UNCHANGING. Too many pastors and teachers, podcasters, are not reborn in Chist and they remind me of God&apos;s message to the Church at Ephesus. They have left their first love.

  McArthur was great in warning about the Charismatic church but he was allowing charismatics speak at the Shepherds Conference ( Greg Laurie for example)

  The more I listen to JJ the more impressed I am. That is what I call being sharp! Wise! Insightful! Profound. All three are brilliant and have substance!
