  Our future in this country is on shaky ground.  More so than it's been for quite awhile.  Thank you for this conversation.  We have to vote in ways that push back on the radical voices on both sides.

  El-Sayed may claim that he is not DSA, however, all of DSA campaigned for him and supported him. If it looks like a DSA and acts like a DSA it is DSA.  Most of the things that he has said is in perfect alignment with DSA.

  As a Venezuelan, I can't understand how Americans can.choosing socialism, when Hugo Chavez campaigned in 1998 he publicly declared on the program of the historian Oscar Yanes, he said "I am not a socialist", because he knew that Venezuelan socialism had a terrible reputation and was widely rejected by the people, it was not until 2006 that he officially declared himself a Socialist, imposed the "socialism of the XXI century", forcing more than 8 million Venezuelans to emigrate, socialism is poison sold as a panacea, it has never worked anywhere in the world, but young fools believe that they can make it work.

  I read the press releases from my local Code Pink group and thought, “Is there a single dictatorial regime they don’t support?” I’ve met so many Venezuelans who were displaced by Maduro’s stupidity and greed; it astounds me that anyone would support him simply on humanitarian grounds.
