when Stephanie was telling this true crime, I straight up thought this was a movie, I totally forgot for a  moment she was telling a traumatic event. Its scary to think things like this actually happen, its so inhummane...

This story was traumatic and the fact that this actually happened is just terrifying. The fact that humans could act so inhumane makes me doubt humanity.

Remember chat, all murderers are bad, but some killers are good. They are not the same thing. Seeing as we will never know the story, I leave it at this: some people on that boat were bad, some of them were good. We know one thing though, higher accountability. The fishing company should be held responsible for every death that occurred from both sides. They caused it

Lowkey, chat is giving they’ve never read a book💀 they complain she’s “dragging it on” as if the details wont make a higher impact when the reason they kill each other is revealed. When she “gets to the point” they complain that they’re missing details/skipped a few chapters, like pick a struggle😭😭😭

crazy thing?? they actually tried TWICE to make a movie about this event. first time a company couldn’t get permission to start the filming and another company later on tried again and got permission to broadcast in 2023 but was taken off last minute. it feels like this story almost can’t exist due to the bad luck it brings, which would also explain those bad luck events that happened before the entire thing took place. there are books however where there are inspired stories of the event and are available in english for people to read!!

No lie when the part where chef zia was thrown into the ocean immediately reminded me of when the original chef Yan jumped down the ship by himself screaming murder and that realization sent chills down my spine

no matter what actually happened on the boat and whoever killed who.. that fishing company is responsible for the losses of life they caused them to suffer for months.
