I love the goofy and quirky cartoon drawings, surely AI-generated. It really made it worth the watch.

The siege of Rhodes predates *gunpowder, which wouldn't make it to Europe for about 1,600 years. Kinda makes those cannons on the Helepolis pretty useless. No wonder it didn't work.

*the Chinese invented gunpowder about thirteen hundred years after the siege of Rhodes

What idiotic illustrations! #2 The gigantic seige tower is shown with cannons in several drawings, but it was a millenium before gunpowder was invented.

#1 The scythed chariot is consistently shown with a single man. The only uses for a one-man chariot were racing and maybe hauling the mail if it was too heavy for a horseman. Chariots for battle carried two or three men, a driver and one or two men to fight with bows and spears. The scythes were extra, not the main weapon. They may have been invented by the Persians to break up the Greek phalanx, which was a singularly inflexible formation, but every professional military of later eras was trained to deal with them in just the way shown. Armies went back and forth between mounting scythes in hopes of catching untrained militia or unprepared and scattered troops and leaving them off so the chariots could pack closer together, until they bred larger horses and cavalry replaced chariots except for ceremonies or carrying a few leaders around.

And that answers whether the text is as badly researched as the drawings. I'm not wasting time seeing what utter ignorance is revealed in #3.

I am rolling, these AI images are insanely funny. The one with the bats during the Tsar Tank had me doing a double take even. I’m assuming it blended ye olde bat bomb with the tank somehow.

Glad you mentioned the panjandrum MIGHT have been a big hoax. I mean testing it on a beach....with a fucking dog? Making the germans think we would use the long sandy beaches of Calais.
Does ask questions. But like you said...it did exist...and they certainly did try it.

The pictures are fun to look at, but they look like they were drawn by a 3-year old child. You need a smarter AI...

Oh please ...... make MORE videos of totally idiotic military inventions. This is the best laugh I've had all week. :face-blue-smiling:

The inventors of these stupid ass weapons systems deserve DARWIN awards ..... all the way around. That governments actually paid money to develope this crap proves Groucho's famous quote: "Military intellegence is a contradiction in terms."
The fire bombing bats is the winner.

Poor AI pictures, poor AI text, AI narrator (probably)
This race question: is information reliable, or just AI hallucination?

PLEASE.. NEVER USE AI on the wheels.. You might get them to try and reinvent it... SMH..
