It took Willjum 7 hours to get a level 2 workbench as a solo. Apparently Facepunch released a 2nd update to nerf their original nerf. Due to a HUGE amount of push back. The fragments are now available in green crates and the original sites plus some extra sites. EDIT: Plus now I've heard metal detectors can find them RANDOMLY.

All it did was nerf small groups in favor of large ones. If they were that concerned about game progression especially with large groups, scrap gather rates would be a function of how many players are on the teams. For example, a solo gets the 100% scrap rate, a 10 man gets 50%, 20 gets 25%. Or something similar to that.

love how he killed sleeper after sleeper setting off rust+ everywhere and then gets screwed for it . all while keeping a rock in his inventory and leaving better loot behind for it. BRAINDEAD
