  I'm jamaican and when I was a child I thought the majority of Africans were starving because that was the narrative we saw. Since internet and social media and growing up I got more educated and realized that It wasn't true.

  I could remember telling my friend that Jamaica is my dream country and he laughed but I just ignored and knew what I know. I'm Gambian and really want to go and explore Jamaica. Jamaica likkle buh talawa🇯🇲🇬🇲

  As an African, a Nigerian to be precise living in Britain, I&apos;m just loving this content right now, the Western media has done its best to separate us from each other and my dreams of visiting Jamaica is actually inevitable right now.

  Most Jamaicans live in good houses, maybe not mansions, but decent houses. But there are also many ordinary hard working people living in large houses who aren&apos;t necessarily rich. The ghettoes that they show you in the media in Jamaica are less than 5% of Jamaica. It&apos;s a small area in Kingston.

  I am a Black American… “born &amp; bred”…<br>I have been to Jamaica over two dozen times… Jamaica (to me) is ABSOLUTELY one of the most beautiful Islands in the Caribbean…<br><br>The people… 👍🏽<br>The food… 👍🏽<br>The music… 👍🏽<br>The landscape… 👍🏽<br>The lingo!!!…👍🏽 LUV IT ALL!<br><br>I’ve never felt unsafe… and I’ve traveled ALL over the island… It’s an “experience” every time I go! 💃🏽
