  I&apos;ve been furious since I was 13. Thank you for doing this review. This show made me furious and enraged, especially now in 2026 . It happened to me for 6 years in the 80&apos;s and at &nbsp;62 ,I am still angry.

  I felt like she was ok killing Beck because Becky started a sexual relationship with her from a higher power dynamic. If it was so easy for Catherine to do initiate with a look, it&apos;s likely she&apos;s abused that position before. She ends up in the same category as the traffickers in Catherine&apos;s mind so she takes out a future threat to vulnerable women.

  I loved how into stickers and glittery things and anything a 11-15 year girl would stock up on. She didn&apos;t get to be a regular girl so she surrounds herself with the aesthetic. My heart broke a little every time she rocked out to Rhianna&apos;s We Found Love. You just know that was Catherine and Isabella&apos;s song.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nTZIsOz2LU&amp;t=837">13:57</a> a common trauma response is an attempt to ‘normalize’ the behavior that traumatized the victim, while they are the ones in control. It’s the coping mechanism that is most often weaponized to blame the victim and is why victims of SA will often try to act like nothing happened with the offender, with friendly communication, bc they haven’t processed what happened yet. That detail tells me the writers have personal experience or that they consulted experts bc it makes perfect sense. The brain wants what is familiar, even when the individual doesn’t, they feel compelled to perform certain actions- to soothe their brain.

  As a victim and survivor, this show was extremely cathartic for me. I watched it with my cis male partner who is amazing and took it upon himself to independently rewatch and look up things and ask me questions. We had a lot of deep talks while watching and our relationship is even better now. &nbsp;Thank you for the way in which you talk about these shows and these atrocities. It means a lot to me.

  fr as you were explaining it it&apos;s so disgusting how there is so many stories, real and fictional, of police/law corruption, and NOTHING. HAPPENS. <br><br>I hate that this is so believable. and that so many in the story are getting away with things. Just like those irl. I&apos;m so sick<br><br>Thank you for explaining this, I would be to FURIOUS to actually watch
