  I feel kind of bad for Xu Lixia. I feel like she should've gotten a lighter sentence because she didn't really have the mentality or a motive to kill. She was ultimately doing it to keep her family safe.

  I feel she should not be sentenced to death . Because without her - none of this would have been revealed. She should be sentenced to jail.

  I feel for her, she was trapped, with few real choices: obey him or risk her and her child’s safety. In the end, she spoke out and helped bring a dangerous man to justice. She deserves empathy and a lighter sentence, considering the impossible situation she was in.<br><br>Living under constant fear changes everything. Saying “she should’ve spoken sooner” ignores how controlled and watched she was. Trauma isn’t logical, it causes panic and silence. She may have only felt safe once he was removed.<br><br>Blaming her for not escaping earlier isn’t fair. She did what she could, when she could, and that takes strength. The real responsibility lies with the abuser, not someone trying to survive and protect their family.

  Justice was served for Jia, but not for Xu. &nbsp;Xu was a victim. &nbsp;She obeyed Jia because of survival and safety of her family. &nbsp;She shouldn&apos;t get death sentence.

  I don&apos;t know if the lady deserved the death penalty. Luring people to their death is cruel and unforgivable but I still feel some pity for her, imagine waking up in a pile of rotting corpses confused, then realizing the man you just met had killed them and just did the same to you. She tried so hard climbing out of the mass grave only to see that man up there waiting to end her life again. She had to beg desperately by convincing him she can be useful for her life to be spared. After a horrific experience like this, it was possible she couldn&apos;t think properly due to the trauma and her fear of the man. I think she should be sentenced to life but she gladly accepted her death sentence and was relief to be given it so maybe there was no right or wrong decision here on her sentence. Had she appealed it, I wouldn&apos;t have felt this sorry for her.

  Xu should have had a lighter sentence. Maybe punishment for kidnapping related charges. But she was a victim and did what she did believing it would protect ger child.
