When my husband became suddenly severely disabled a woman at the hospital told me that in cases of severe illness 80% of the women stay and become caregivers while only 20% of men stay for caregiving. I don’t know if that is true, but after 32 years of caregiving I couldn’t have left him, I wasn’t raised that way.

Jon and his wife fit because they knew each other as children and I think this is why they come together.  You can tell that they discuss everything and this is good.
