Common criminals rob banks, exceptional criminals become bankers.

Banks are the majority of money laundering.

I am watching this across the street from an apparent small-time money launderer. The sign on the building reads, &quot;Coin Laundry&quot;. 🤑

The fact that the federal government only stops 1% of money laundering should tell you that the federal government is doing a lot of money laundering

In the early 80s a buddy of mine got a large insurance settlement. He used the money to buy a piece of property and build a house, and build a large shop. He built a hidden basement under the entire shop, he filled the shop with welding and metalworking equipment, he filled the basement with all of the equipment necessary to grow marijuana. The welding shop give him cover for cash income, high electricity use, and possibly infrared camera flyovers. As far as I&apos;m aware, he operated that for the rest of his life. Paid taxes on everything, anybody that visited had to sign multiple receipts saying that he had done welding work for them, etc. <br>In the grand scheme of things, that&apos;s pretty small time, but it worked for a couple of decades. He did what he loved, being a grower, and he made money hand over fist. I think right about the time he died was when this state legalized marijuana. Which is a good thing it would have broke his heart. And his little business scheme would have been over, too.

The real estate method bothers me the most - the collateral damage of increased home and rental costs are a serious problem needing a solution.

I worked at a casino for a year. One day two guys came in, both sat at a black jack table, and they each bought $2,000.00 in chips. They each bet $5.00 a hand, played about 2 or three hands and took the rest of their chips to the cage to cash out. The floor stopped them, opened the cash drop box at the table where they bought the chips and gave each of them their original $2,000 and told them to never come back. I think the bigger worry was if the money was counterfeit but either way.........

Life gets really hard when you have that much cash. Especially since they took away the 500 and 1,000 dollar bill, gold is heavy.😂
