  I got to see the Amsterdam Museum which has a feature area all about how the country overcame the water. &nbsp;It an astonishing amount of work. &nbsp;Lovely people and country.

  I would imagine groundwater extraction has impacted a lot of communities. There is a neighborhood here in the Las Vegas valley nevada that is sinking. My guess is there would be places in the Midwest &nbsp;and southeast USA.
