15 Great Lakes Ships in action - See them all in an hour!

Join us for a nautical blast from the past as we turn back the clock to the 1990's and focus our cameras on classic lakers, steamers, self-unloaders and mighty 1000 footers on "Great Lakes Ships - Volume One." This historic footage footage captured in the mid to late nineties showcases 15 different vessels as they are seen transiting the seaways, rivers, canals and locks of the Great Lakes. We've digitally re-mastered and upscaled this program to beautiful HD quality for the enjoyment of everyone! We'll give you some stats plus interesting facts and history for each of the vessels covered in this hour long program. Since the the year 2000 when this program was produced, sadly, five of these vessels are no longer with us. The Canadian Enterprise, Algomarine and Kinsman Independent have all been scrapped. The Armco has been sliced up and turned into a barge and in 1998 Wolf River went into long term layup in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. The Adam E. Cornelius was renamed to the Algoma Compass.
