This is still my video with the most mad people even way later, so just to confirm, this game is incredible, some parts are tedious and combined with the least fun ones being late in the game it was a special blend. I find it hilarious that this game brought the most tilted comment section lol but ye, game was way harder than expected and I think I did super well but it was still more endurance based than I expected it to be, shiz happens, still an effing amazing game thanks :)

like how everyone in chat points out the matrix parody and how everything had to have it back then, but missed the other like 20 movie parodies this game has 😂

I think some people dont notice it but at the very end whats depressing is he remembers to go the right way this time when he leaves the bar

So glad he played it, I still say it's my favorite game even after 10+ clears. Admittedly it's got it's rough parts where you don't understand what's happening (crawling is only used in the laser portion, slightly hidden B spots, poor shooting controls...) but he did astoundingly well for all of that. I remember the lava surfing took me 30-40 lives the first time through when I was 11. Chat really needed to understand to shut up about everything though.

I just realized the opening scene is a direct reference to Clockwork Orange.

I like how through all the backseating, when dp actually asks for help, no one knows what to do. Also - 8:54:24 - definitely took a rocket to the ass.

I think this is one of the most underated masterpieces ever. Seriously, even if you just look at it from a technical standpoint. This game had fully realized voice acting + detailed facial animation (even moving individual fingers), lip syncing, dynamic shading, and so much more. Just watching this video I was surprised at how fucking smooth everything looks. And this was on the friggin N64!!!!!! That's so nuts. There's so much I could praise about this game but I'd be here forever. I have no idea what the fuck was wrong with Microsoft to deny the dev team the opportunity to make a proper sequal to this game and let to fade away into dust.
