  The most important thing here is that the club is releasing this video right before the start of the new season. After the difficult moments Martin went through last season — his injury and the criticism of his performances from journalists and some fans — there could have been doubts about his captaincy and his involvement in matches. But we can see that the club trusts him, so there is no reason to doubt that everything is going well. He was there at the beginning of the rebuild and witnessed the period when the club’s rise was only just beginning. The way he treats the fans, the gentleman he is both on and off the pitch — all of this only reinforces the feeling that our captain truly deserves this role. The Russian coach Leonid Slutsky (the one who managed Hull) once said that Martin is an incredible professional. I’ve only been supporting Arsenal for 15 years, but I believe Martin is one of the most deserving captains to have represented our club. I will always believe in him, and I’m grateful that we have him.

  Love seeing the club get behind the captain like this. So many haters who would have cost us the premier league last year calling for Martin out and Arteta out. And like true leaders they both ignored the haters and silenced them through their actions. These two, and Bukayo are my ride or dies at the club. They make me feel like Wrighty, Vieira, Henri, Sol and Wenger used to make me feel and I couldn't be prouder. True blood gunners to the core.

  MØ genuinely looked like he was enjoying his football again in the shield game. That World Cup did wonders for his confidence and you can see it beaming off his face.

  Ødegaard has somehow beaten the Arsenal captain’s misfortune of being judged almost entirely by performance expectations. He’s grown into what it actually means to be a proper leader—calm, accountable, composed, and willing to carry the team through the difficult moments. ❤️‍🩹<br><br>And honestly, these past few Arsenal documentaries have been cutting onions at this point 😭😢😍. You see the human side behind the football, the pressure, the setbacks, the growth… it makes you appreciate the players so much more.<br><br>Captain Ødegaard. What a journey. ❤️🔴⚪

  I feel like videos like this are made when you want to sell a player for much higher than they are worth. But in Martin&apos;s case, it is being made to make Arsenal fans aware of what they have! Too much noise in the summer calling to sell this guy, he is 1 in a million!
