  Boys I have the same unit but I have 10 solar panels connected to recharge it so I don’t run into the issue he is having, I run on batteries from 4 PM to 9 AM every single day since I purchased the system.

  Found this an interesting video as we had an unplanned outage yesterday. We have a transfer switch with 10 critical circuits available to power. We have two mini-splits, a freezer, two refrigerators (one is a small bar fridge, the other 27 cu. Ft. 55&quot; TV with Dish network, Star Link, and various led lights throughout the house. I ran everything with a Honda 2200 watt generator for 7 hrs. On a little over 1 gallon of gas. Only one AC unit was on in the master bedroom, so there&apos;s that. I have another generator that&apos;s capable of running on propane for a backup if necessary. <br>We have solar for all the outdoor lighting and a gate But I don&apos;t think it&apos;s a practical solution for our house. We pay over 40 cents KWH in Ca. For power, so charging becomes an issue from the grid. Anyway thanks for the insightful video!

  For 5-7k $ You easily buy used EV like Nissan Leaf with 40kwh battery then thru 12V battery connecting cheap inverter to it and car is on . You can drain HV battery from it in constant 3000w power. And if you need you can drive it where you needed.

  The delta pro ultra as it&apos;s configured in the video is north of 12k with proper UL required installation in states like California it only meets code when installed with the smart home panel. And is limited to 3 batteries per inverter

  Thanks for the video! &nbsp;It&apos;s great to see a review of the DCU with only 2 batteries - most other reviews show it with 3-5 batteries.

  I have the Tesla Powerwall 3 connected via solar in N Florida. It&apos;s set up to sell power back to the grid. Power bills have been under $35 per month during peak cooling season! 🎉🎉🎉<br>It&apos;s been a great investment so far.

  Thanks. I can see using this with solar daily to help offset the purchase cost. Daily use may help a long range recovery of expense so I appreciate the video. Otherwise, dual fuel or even gas generator and a transfer switch self installed can be had for $1000. I’d need some serious outage time(like apocalypse outage time)for it to rack up fuel expense to make it comparable to batteries.
