  I really hope you enjoy this video, as the scale model alone took me over 1 month to only research and sketch! The text was a difficult and confusing read, with many gaps and inconsistencies, but I pushed through so you wouldn&apos;t have to. But these minor issues are exactly what give the text a soul. Its easy to imagine our Roman surveyor tirelessly working through the numbers, trying to make these camps even more efficient, and not without leaving some human errors and gaps of his own!<br><br>Also, for those of you regretting I used imperial measurements in this video, I did so because they are almost identical to &quot;Roman measurements&quot; used by the text (1 Roman foot = 0.97 imperial feet), so &quot;30x12 feet&quot; sounds better than &quot;9.14x3.66 meters&quot;. Metric measurements are still listed in the subtitles though!

  those gaps are probably there for a reason. We just don&apos;t know it. When I play Age of Empire tho I like to leave room to move my troops around so maybe it&apos;s space to adjust formations

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UH2fGnMPmk&amp;t=1070">17:50</a> it might not be on the munitionibus but afaik part of the baggage train was often around the quaestorium and most of the camp followers were camped outside the wall in the canabae which eventually became the vici in the &nbsp;more stationary camps.
