Our DM was wicked!!! He padded out the first part of hand of Vecna, making it a frikken hours long campaign of terror, never telling us what the endgame was! Picked us off one by one, like a frikken Predator!! I didn't realize till seeing these Youtube channels that we were SUPPOSED TO DIE, and it was necessary for us to die to set up the second part of the game!! Our DM tricked us and allowed us to make high level wizards to make up "The Circle of Eight" and didn't forewarn us (as I learned years later the DM guide forbade it.) We corresponded amongst ourselves which spells to learn, gear to equip, and had a plan of attack which took us hours to set up as we were creating these caracters from scratch! Vecna was waiting for us early in the game. Shifting walls, Illusions, traps, would damage us just enough so we would use all our healing and support items up. Some of us would die and Vecna would reanimate our corpses to parade around the rest of the group demoralizing our characters causing us to lose to saving throws and weaken our attacks. Vecna made it a terrifying experience for us (kudos to the DM who played us like a fiddle.) 34 YEARS later, that game still haunts me.. I want a rematch!! 😡

Some of my favorite YouTubers started out reading their scripts like it was a speed reading world championship, and you're already well on your way to mastering tone and cadence? Yes. Mas por favor! More please!

I’m a little put off at the start of every chapter when it’s dated with the Dale Reckoning calendar from The Forgotten Realms when Vecna’s history is mostly on Oerth.  🤷🏼‍♂️

This is perfection. The writing, the pacing, the art and music. This channel is gonna take off!

Incredible video. The music,  the images, the pacing, and the writing felt great. It really felt as if i was told an ancient story and it had a great vibe to it. Nice tone of voice to fall asleep to as well

Well done, sir. This is, from what I can see, the 4th vid on the channel, and it rivals those who have been in the game for years. Bravo.

I can honestly see why stranger things decided to make vecna who he is now after watching this they do relate in some very similar ways

Are we not mentioning the age Vecna spent trapped in Ravenloft?
