Is Magnus the strongest because he's Magnus? Or is he Magnus because he's the strongest?

I don’t understand people who think Levy doesn’t explain chess at a high level. I’ve watched other chess channels. They might go in depth by showing a bunch of lines, but Levy has the ability to take high level chess play and explain the general ideas of it to players at the 800 level. That’s an incredible talent.

People who think Agamator is better at explaining chess are just gate keeping for the pompous high level players who think complexity is better. Levy‘s simplicity is his genius. He understand the game on a high enough level to understand the plans of players better than him, but then also possesses the communication skills to simplify those ideas.

You deserve all the following you have Levy.

As an idea, I would really like to watch videos explaining the history behind every candidates 2026 participant, going over their most important tournaments/games. I think it would be a nice mini series to hype up the candidates a little bit more.

Because he drinks water from a vase.

He has the best memory by far. I once saw him give a mid-game interview where he analyzed six variations from memory, each about ten moves deep, and the crazy part is that it was a freestyle (Fischer Random) game, so there was no theory involved.
