  Definition: Grooming - Grooming is the predatory act of maneuvering another individual into a position that makes them more isolated, dependent, likely to trust, and more vulnerable to abusive behavior. You are exactly right, you did get groomed in a weird way through the internet (which happens a lot) I’m so sorry this happened to you. your feelings are VERY valid & I’m glad you are strong enough to share your stories <33

  this is definitely grooming. It doesn’t matter on age, it’s just the process of taking advantage of someone who’s naive of something ;by isolation and or mental/ physical abuse. <br>She took advantage of you by making you self isolate yourself try to make you pity her repeatedly. Then basically force you into a relationship. And to add to it, try to manipulate you and G into sending naked pictures

  Not only did this eighth grade girl go out of her way to groom TWO fifth graders, but she also had a bunch of grown men harass you in a group chat. Everything she did was just sick/twisted. Why would you take the time out of your day to harass children? Especially as someone going into high school, you’d know it’s not okay to do that. I hope “N” found the help she desperately needed.

  child grooming is definitely a thing. i was manipulated &amp; assaulted by girls a few years older than me as a little girl.

  Grooming can absolutely happen by other children. In therapy it&apos;s considered predation after a 5 year difference but childern generally assault other children alot, it&apos;s a sick cycle

  I definitely feel like that “father” was actually pretending to be that “little girl” in 8th grade on that game. A lot of adults who groom like to act like they’re younger and go on those types of games to get vulnerable children. Even as someone who also doesn’t have a high pitched voice as a girl, it’s still suspicious that not only did she have a deep voice, but the fact that she had that many contacts of people after that “trauma” dumping she did. AND she wanted to exchange n*des?! Along with the “abusive father” being so involved and mentioning sexual things to 5th graders and his own child? Yeah something’s not adding up with that “girl’s” story🤔

  In my opinion, I honestly don’t think it was a girl. It just doesn’t make sense.. a group full of grown ups and she was in 8th grade?? and she also had a deep voice..so deep your parent thought she was a man. I honestly think it was a man pretending to be someone younger and that’s so creepy. (Just a theory)
