  OMG - THIS is the video I have wanted to see. I own five of these SPA300-D plate amplifiers and love them. I don&apos;t own anything to test output wattages. But, I always say in my videos, &quot;the plate amplifier plays like a 600w amplifier&quot;. And now (thanks to you) - my premise is proven! All mine are rock solid, no crackling, no cutout, just pushes power nicely. WELL DONE and THANK YOU! 👍👍

  The 110V/240V switch is used to switch the input capacitors from parallel to series, which should increase the voltage the system can handle to 240VAC (~340VDC after rectification, assuming the capacitors are balanced, as any decent power supply design should do).
