"What gets you out of Egypt, is not what takes you to Paradise" - such a powerful line I heard today.
Here's another interpretation of it - The mindset that will take you out of your struggle phase is not the same that will take you to your fulfilment phase.

🤯 I WORK THE SCRIPT SO I CAN BUY BLANK PAGES. That hit me like a punch to the face. What a powerful visual for an author like me 😭 And he said it off the cuff. Can we stand up and clap for this man? 👏 👏 👏 👏 My favorite adjacent metaphor is "Live 5 years like no one wants to in order to like 50 years like everyone wants to."

This made me smile, this is what I'm trying to do with every one of my clients, and learning storytelling is a HUGE part of being able to do this! Great video Vinh

I learned about the importance of storytelling during my time in university, but I never learned how to craft a powerful story. This video helped me connect the dots. And your delivery is top notch this time, truly outstanding! I'm sure this will stick in my memory

I believe this is why the stories in the bible were written as “stories” and not just factual rules and answers about how the world works. That’s how it would persuade and make the people listen, adopt its lessons and abide by it, thousands of years ago.

It’s interesting how the further back you go in history, the more “story like” history and messages have been told were. From using metaphorical or MYTHICAL stories to get a message across, in the eras before and during Bronze Age ( stories during Abrahams time period, Mesopotamian stories, epic of Gilgamesh, etc) , then to telling history using LEGEND which is exaggerated history so based off true story and true events but not completely, this taking place around Bronze Age to classical antiquity (like the flood stories such as the one with Noah’s arc, the Exodus, Trojan war, to even the 300 Spartans, etc),
all the way to straight up FACTUAL HISTORY which was mostly introduced by the romans so around Jesus’s time.

And yet still even after the world learned to record facts and data, it’s through a story that we still move people because only story has the power to reach the soul and carry a message across time.

I only intended to watch less than 5 minutes of this. YouTube started to transition the next video, that's when I realized I had just watched the whole video. This was only possible because the story telling was clear, the examples were concise and resonated well, and the content was well framed/paced.
