Is this recent? Good God, Penrose is like 94. Whether he's right or wrong, he is sharp. Never heard someone that old and that focused and coherent.

I really enjoyed the debate, I seen the full debate and I still think that it’s not long enough. I feel like we were about to get somewhere but didn’t have enough time. I really look forward to seeing you hearing you all again.

Scientist here, working in academia. I always have found amazing how string theory can go for decades without advancing significantly, nor be able to test it conclusively, yet get so much attention (and funding). The majority of other fields of science would have perish following the same approach. But definitely makes you wonder, If you can’t apply the scientific method, is it really science?

Pretty funny the way that after saying “Science is conducted by scientists with an enormous amount of training and experience,” Greene paused between “like Roger” and “…and others….” To avoid having to mention Weinstein 😂
