The MC275 never had a black glass faceplate and certainly never had meters. That didn't come around until the solid state MC2505 in, I believe 1968/9.

I had a pair of McIntosh mc 2205's fully restored last year. The amps are around 47 years old. They have alot of head room also. One doesn't clip until it hit 285 watts and the other is 258 watts . I recapped my c29 and had my c22 checked also! I am currently on the waiting list to get my mono block mc30s fully restored! My solid state amps are driving fully restored dhalquist dq10s and the tube amps will be a set of klipsh speakers. McIntosh is amazing equipment! That will out live me ! Cheers🎉

Overpriced audio gear, Halfer amps crush the McIntosh at a fraction of the price.
