  Hard truth. Yet, each of us must know the bad news about our condition as fallen, sinful human beings in order for the good news of the Gospel to be recognized and received as good news.

  I was brought up through a religious system with men in costumes telling me their requirements of catechism, etc, and I could have cared less, and I used to mock and laugh about the bible and Christ. Then, in later years, I was moving books and opened a Bible and was blown away because I believed it and couldn&apos;t put it down and became born again. I realized I was despicable and knew I was worthless without being saved. I still am not a perfect person and aware of &nbsp;sin now and do my best to stay away. I feel like I now have a flashlight in the darkness.
