I can't thank you enough. I had a stroke about 4 years ago. I was pretty decent at electronics. Since the stroke electronics go way over my head. Your videos have made my firestick so much better.

Great information. I just did it! Surprised, I only had 13 apps running. You are the best and most easy to understand tutor for the firestick. I've learned so much from you. THANKS!

Something else that helps, while you are force stopping your running apps, also clear your cache. I find that this also helps increase your speed.

We are a 'low tech' household but your teaching technique is very clear and comprehensible! We don't have buffering problems but I like knowing how to troubleshoot should the need arise. Only had 3 apps running in the background, mostly because we mainly watch 2 apps, PBS and YouTube. HULU was also listed and I force stopped it. Thanks for great instruction and helping others!

You're doing everything right! I subscribed to your channel 2-3 yrs ago and I have kept my Firestick in proper operating condition ever since. I check background apps every week or so and the speed test less so. The last time I checked I had 7 apps running in the background. I have an old Firestick so I probably won't get the new interface but I'm used to what I have, so I'm good.
