Bought an electric mincer and make my own mince, can control the fat content and texture. Burgers, bolognaise and tacos etc never tasted better!

I bought some 'Beef mince with 20% fat' at Woolworths. Cooked with little water, my rescue cats refused to eat. Seriously.

I have watched Costco mince beef.. They had a huge piece of beef I watched them put it into the grinder and come out the end They packed it there and then and handed it to me.... I stopped buying from Coles and Woolies years ago I was so sick of broiling the eat instead of browning it.... Pouring water off it before I could finish cooking it... I always buy from Costco. Love their meats. Love Costco

In the English countryside you’ll find farmers that have their own little stores on their property selling their own produce whether it’s beef and or dairy; their own made ice cream/butter/cream/milk/cheese from the dairy cows and beef from the cattle etc. It’s fantastic! Even home made cookies/preserves and bread. More countries should adopt that idea. It works! Prices are way lower than the supermarket and the quality is way higher.

Unfortunately living in regional area the only option is woolworths and coles.<br>So supporting local butchers is preferable which uses local produce.

Supermarkets use beef that has had Bovaer used in its feed!! So SEE YOU LATER COLES & WW!!!

I bought sausage meat for my dog, visiting magpies and kookaburra.<br>Only the dog refused it.<br>A few days after buying the sausage meat I heard at least 1 mouse scurring about in the roof space. <br>So I used a bit of sausage mince on a rat trap and some peanut butter on the other trap. One trap went off about 2 hours later, and it was the Peanut butter baited one. There was still another mouse in the ceiling space but I thought I'll keep checking the remaining sausage bait.<br>3 weeks later, the sausage meat had dehydrated but was never touched. NO mould, No disintegration, No smell. Seriously - what if any organic stuff is in supermarket sausage mince?<br>Then I put in the trap with peanut butter and caught the last mouse soon after.
