Betty Bell is a potter from Milton, Washington. She was my neighbor when I was growing up and she was well known in the area for selling her pottery at the Puyallup Fair.

Thank you so much for what you do here. My Father passed away last Sunday and the only thing that I can seem to watch right now are some YouTube videos. Yours and another person I follow. Laura and Jesse, i had tears in my eyes for this whole episode; you guys really captured the essence of the Victorian/Melbourne thrift, vintage and antiques.i especially liked it when you were in Brunswick as that is my local thrift scene (i live 5 mins from where you were). I was born and bred a “Malbinite” as the locals call it, I have a house very close in Fitzroy as i look after my elderly parents for about half each month and the other half I am in Sydney. I couldn;t believe i missed you both by one day in each location as this month is busy with Birthdays in both mel and syd so i just couldn’t get to see you. Thank you for loving my favourite city and State, I cant wait to hear your adventures in Nsw and SA!

I just went thrifting & antiquing on the Canadian west coast. One shop had a penguin ice bucket that had been turned into a lamp, made me think of you!

If you find signed pottery you like but is cracked you should still buy it if it’s inexpensive.<br>I use my wet tile saw to reshape pieces and make art out of art.<br>Never claiming the piece, just the reconfigured saved saved from the landfill.

I believe the Lane cedar chest insured such a high amount because women would have kept furs in it, and furs at Mid 20th Century were a high-value status symbol akin to diamonds. :-)
